Second childhood or the last gasp?

It is now or never!  If I don't get a convertible soon, it will be too late.

In my heart I have lusted for a Toyota Solara convertible, first black/black top, then almost any color except red or blue, then black/tan top, and now I think I am settled on Arctic White/tan top.  The color of course is the critical element.

I have serious feelers out all over now that I've made my color choice.  Got the $$ lined up. Have a date to take my car in for trade in evaluation.  Learned about certified used cars.  Read carfax reports.

I don't give a hang that Toyota hasn't got any in production.  Those fools!  That is the best looking car around.  I can't believe they would drop it.  I also don't care that it isn't American, considering what a mess GM has made of itself.

One of my friends kindly said, "Wow, a blonde in a convertible.  What could be better than that?"  I immediately thought a blonde with long hair...  instead of my short locks.  But that ain't gonna happen.  I cut my long tresses when I was in my 50's, hopefully before I got that country western female singer look.  I'll tie a chiffon scarf around my neck and get some big sun glasses to make up for the hair.

Let me and the good times roll!
